I am going to start blogging about different topics than just Microsoft Sentinel. As you probably know, Microsoft Sentinel can (and should) be integrated with the Defender portal (security.microsoft.com), aka unified portal, so I will be expanding my focus a bit. Don’t worry, I still love Microsoft Sentinel. There will still be some general security related posts as well.
I am also going to expand more into my love of developing. Expect to see some posts on DevSecOps, React, and just development in general.
I am also getting into the Microsoft SharePoint development framework, SPFx. For those that may know me from a long time ago, I did SharePoint work for about a decade before moving into Azure. I was one of the first Microsoft MVP award winners for SharePoint (one of six that first year!) some 20 odd years ago! I even suffered through the first version of SharePoint that was broken into 2 products that didn’t even talk to each other! Of course, both were named SharePoint. Kind of surprised it made it past that first year.
I have a couple of React projects that I haven’t had time to really devote to finishing but I will make the time now. One of them is one of most asked for features for Microsoft Sentinel 🙂
I may even see about doing some YouTube videos on the development process although I have been told I have the face for radio and the voice for newspaper, so we will see. Let me know if you would want to see something along those lines.
